MAMAN: French-inspired café and bakery Maman has opened its second Charlotte location in South End at Atherton Mill. Guests can enjoy fan favorites like the famous Nutty Chocolate Chip Cookie, along with North Carolina exclusives including the Peaches & Cream Danish and Mac & Cheese Croissant.
ITALO: The latest concept from the team behind Aria Tuscan Grill has officially opened in Uptown serving fresh handmade pastas, Italian staples, and shareable dishes in the heart of Charlotte.
RIO 150 MEXICAN GRILL - SOUTH CHARLOTTE LOCATION: This new South Charlotte spot is now serving tacos, queso, and the BIGGEST margarita in NC (56oz to be exact!).

POSTINO: Postino Expands in Charlotte, Opening at Plaza Midwood in Late Summer 2026.
CAROWINDS: Construction is underway at Carowinds on Rip Roarin' Falls, a new water attraction set to break three world records. The six-and-a-half-minute ride will feature a 100-foot drop, reach speeds up to 50 mph and be built on the former Rip Roarin' Rapids site.
MIRÓ SPANISH GRILL: Miró Spanish Grille, a Ballantyne staple since 1999, is opening a second location in SouthPark this summer. The restaurant will move into the former Fontana Di Vino space.
FAHRENHEIT: Fahrenheit debuted a new spritz collection and spritz towers just in time for summer rooftop nights.
